What I've been doing since Hanau = Left Germany in 1976 and moved to Hattiesburg, Ms. Hattiesburg is in south MS and the hometown of my parents. I graduated in 1978 and went to college for a year. I joined the MS Air National Guard and became a firefighter. I have worked for the Hattiesburg Fire Dept. since 1982. I have a wonderful wife, son, step-son and three small dogs. I was there when the new school opened. My father was stationed in Aschaufenburg.

After Hanau, Pat moved to France with her parents, got a job four a couple years, got married in 82, had twins (now 21), a daughter (now 15) and a six month old son..  Pat lives close to Paris but moved down south, close to Spain where it's a lot hotter.

Helene has lived in New Mexico since 1976. She has two beautiful children, Robert and Annette Metoyer, from her first husband, Marty, who passed away in 1996. She remarried in 2000 to Joe Dobbins and now has three step-children, Sean, Alexandra and Christopher. She graduated from the University of New Mexico Law School in 1993. Helene has her own law practice in Albuquerque, specializing in family law and criminal law.

What I've been doing since Hanau = We lived in Colorado for a couple of years. I went back to Germany in 1984 where I graduated from the Hauptschule. In Oct of 1985 we moved back to Colorado. I married in 1989, had two children and divorced in 1995. My kids and I now reside in southern Minnesota where I work full time and am an active member of our church.

Since Hanau: I retired after a 22-year career with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office in January 2005 to become Regional Director for Adult Protective Services, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.  My wife, Arcy, and I had a child, Emily Elizabeth Turley, on July 20th, 2003. Emily is now 5 years old and in kindergarten. I adopted my two step-daughters, Ashley (17) and Sophie (13) and we still live in and old historic home (built in 1910) in El Paso. I just turned 51 on April 3rd.  I am saddened to see friends and faculty members who have passed on in the memorial pages of the website. Especially striking is the number killed by drunk drivers. I am president of the Crime Victims' Rights Council of El Paso, a non-profit coalition of law enforcement, prosecutors, crime victims service organizations, advocates and survivors of victims of drunk driving and violent crime. We are dedicating a Crime Victims Memorial Reading Garden this month to the over 1200 victims of violent crime, drunk driving crashes and peace officers killed in the line of duty in El Paso.
