Joe attended Grambling State University and Central Texas College before enlisting in the Army in 1981. He retired from the military in 2001 and
is working now as a Military Intelligence Operations Specialist at Fort Gordon,
GA.
He and his wife, Shelly, have two children,
Joe and Shelby. Joe would "really love to hear from anyone from HAHS and
is really looking forward to "Reunion 2005", hope to see you all there!"

What I've been doing since Hanau = I served as a Medical NCO in the US Army from
1980-1992 and was a Senior Medic for a field Artillery unit for the 24th Inf Div
during Desert Storm. I have been working for the VA here in Pahrump since July
'03. I will be getting married on Feb 14th, 2010 to Kimberley Weldy. She is a
Dental Assistant here in Pahrump.

What I've been doing since Hanau: "Moved back to Kentucky.
Attended Morehead St. Went to work for a local bank, had a son, then went to
work as a weightmaster at a blacktop company. Am currently employed as a
receiving clerk at a huge warehouse in Morehead. Am divorced and body pierce on
the side. Got another bike two years ago and have been in the wind ever since.
My two younger sisters also attended and graduated from HAHS. Cindy and Sandi"

Calvin jaunted around Europe for a while after graduation. In 1981 he joined the
Army and he and Caroline were married. They have 2 children, Carina and Collin.
Calvin received degrees in Architecture and Construction. He is the Co-Founder
of a computer-consulting firm that specializes in database design and data
acquisition.

Broadcaster in 1987. Broadcast Pro Baseball (Indianapolis, Indians) from
1993 through 2003. Voice of Butler University Football and Baseball

What I've been doing since Hanau = I graduated from Luther College in Decorah,
IA, in 1982, and I married Dave Crowe (but kept my maiden name) in June 1984. I
did grad school at St. Mary's and Dave did grad school at U of MN. We have three
children ages 19, 17 and 15. Both Dave and I teach at Augustana College, in Rock
Island, IL. Dave is the chair of the English department and I teach in the
English department and also the education department where I train future high
school teachers. My brother, Jim Hanson (1980), lives in Des Moines, IA, and is
head of the psychology department at Grand View College there. My sister,
Suellen Hanson, (1982) lives in Minneapolis, MN with her husband, Steve.
In case you are confused by my email name, I changed my name to Katie when I went to college and have stuck with it ever since.

After graduating from HHS in 78, Katrina went to Michigan State until the Spring
of 83 where she received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She worked as
an electronics engineer (civil service) for the Navy in Port Hueneme, CA for 17
years, the last years of which she went to law school at night. Katrina
passed the CA Bar in 96 and is a now a Patent Attorney in a law firm with her
husband and two other patent attorneys.. She has 3 boys, Derek (10), Dylan
(6) and Connor (4). "I fondly remember all the wild times at HHS!"

After graduation Jennie spent 4 fun years at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland (majoring in Oceanography) and then 5 years active duty as a Naval Officer in Monterey, CA and in Jacksonville, FL. Jennie and her husband, Brendan (also in the Navy) were married a year after college and they have 5 children, Katie (19), Laura (16), Patrick (12), Claire (9) and Annie (4). Jennie has been a stay at home mom since 1987 and after many moves with the Navy and corporate world settled in the Annapolis area in 2001. Her husband works for Black and Decker and she "keeps busy with our gang and all that entails". Her brother Tom (HHS '80) is an Army officer stationed in Colorado Springs and Mark is in Tulsa, OK.

Carole graduated from New Hampshire College with a BS in Accounting and earned
her MBA in Business & Marketing. She married her husband, John, in 1986 and
lives in New Hampshire in a 200 year old home that they have been renovating for
the last 16 years (and not sure when it will end!) Carole's husband had a bone
marrow transplant for leukemia and is 10 years post transplant so things are
improving for us.
