What I've been doing since Hanau = Went 1 year to Collage worked for class 6 1
year then worked for AAFES Europe till 2006 In Babenhausen Then Darmstadt Lincon
Village they closed in Sept 2008 now collecting unemployment and looking for a
new job have also acquired the German Citizenship.

What I've been doing since Hanau = I am married with 3 boys: Bennett (18)
Indiana University, Prescott (15) Stratton Mountain Ski Academy- races for USA,
and Chadwick (7) St. Joseph's School in Millbrook, NY. I am the Clerk/Treasurer
for the Village of Millerton in New York. I ski patrol at Jiminy Peak, in MA.
All my brothers and sisters and mom and dad still live in Alaska and I miss them
all the time. I have been thinking about my roots lately and would love to hear
from you. Some of you know my big brother Bob-graduated HHS 1976 and Anna Marie-
graduated HHS 1977.

Connie attended Hanau American HS from Jan 1978 until Graduation
1980. She attended U of M Munich for two years and Graduated from U of M
Baltimore with a BS in Medical Technology. She is happily married to Pat Alley,
13 years and has two children Corissa 12 and Jason 9. She served as an Officer
in the Air Force for 7 years. Her career in Medical Technology led her through
several positions ranging from Medical Technologist, Laboratory manager,
Instructional Supervisor to Clinical Laboratory Services Director by year 2000.
After resigning from the Air Force, she pursued a new career in Healthcare
Information Technology as Project Manager and Product Development Business
Analyst. She and her family have hung their hats in Tucson Arizona since 1997.

What I have done since Hanau: German Rock band in Aschaffenburg from 80-83, BA
in General Music at Southern Utah State College (88), Married to Jamie in 1987
going on 21 years, Master of Music (93) and Doctorate of Musical Arts (05) at
Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ. On Oct 17, 2007 we will have our eighth
kid, 4 girls and 4 boys. I am a Major working full time for the Army Reserve,
and I have a recording studio in my basement. Latter helps keep me out of
trouble.

Bruce left Hanau in April '78 and graduated in Baumholder in June '78. He
joined the Army as a medic and spent the next 16 years in TX, CA, KY and
Germany. Bruce also went to Desert Storm in 1991. He now works at

What I've been doing since Hanau = Its great to see all that is going on with
the different one that we all went to school with, I still never got over my dad
not letting me stay to grad there and making me go to a school for 4mos with
strangers and and I missed all of you and our great teams in sports, I've run in
to different ones over the the years here in Charleston ,SC, I gave
birdman our crazy drummer from school a bus ticket home one summer ,I found Mike
Seigeth & Tina in Denver CO doing well for them selves. Love to here from
some of you always your friend and school mate Keith.

After graduation, Cathy worked for the US Government in Aschaffenburg. She
moved to Illinois in 1988, attended Northern Illinois University and is
presently a certified substitute teacher (K-12). Cathy will be entering
Masters in Education and hopefully land a teaching job within two years.

What I've been doing since Hanau = I worked for Dominion Virginia Power for 19
years, blew a brain aneurysm, don't worry, I had a 5% survival chance, 11 blood
transfusions and spent 2 weeks in a coma but am simply too ornery to die.
My left arm is paralyzed and I limp but I'm just fine. Real glad my hair
grew back as I had brain surgery twice. Staples are so punk rock!

What I've been doing since Hanau = I am married to Cathy Garduno for 21 years. I

daughter Rebecca is a senior in High School. I retired from the Albuquerque

What I've been doing since Hanau = I was in 7th, through 9th grade at HAHS,
starting when the school first opened. Wow, that was such a great place to be.
What pride everybody had. After our dad was reassigned to Ft. Hood. I graduated
Copperas Cove High School, then worked at Texas state prison system, medically
retired in 1994. Mendy and I married more than 8 years ago and we have one son,
Austin, age 5. I have my an AAS in Criminal Justice, BS in Behavior Science, and
Ma in clinical psychology. Right now, I’m a stay at home dad and work at writing
my blog and a book.

What I've been doing since Hanau = I've had some odd jobs here and there. Became
a mom at 18 years old. Attended SAC, community college in San Antonio Texas and
obtained an Associates in Nursing. Currently serving in the United States Navy
Reserve. Substitute Teach. Full Time Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay

What I've been doing since Hanau = I loved being at Hanau HS from 1979-1981.
Donald Lesh was the JROTC instructor at the time. And Mr. Prince was the best
soccer coach I ever had. I meet my first love in Hanau HS. My family ended up
being reassigned to Ft.Ord California. I graduated in Salinas, Ca. But in my
heart I will always be a Panther. I now work for The Dept of Energy with the
Department of Defense as a Security consultant in Lynchburg, Va. And have been
married for 10 years. But I really wish I could listen to Casey Kasem on Pioneer
kasern back in 1979. I love all my friends that I got to meet in Germany and
Hanau American HS. ROOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!! Go PANTHERS FOREVER.

Since Hanau: "I attended East Carolina University after leaving Germany in
1980. Taught autistic children for three years before moving to Okianwa in 1987.
I married David Jones in 1988 and we now have three daughters, Alyssa, Sarianna
and Laura. David and I both have our master's degree from Michigan State
University and are both teaching. I am a special education teacher for 7/8th
graders and David teaches high school social studies at Kubasaki HS. I also
teach a face-to-face special education course for the Univ. of Maryland. We call
Colorado home and have a cabin in the Rocky Mountains. We are looking for the

What I've been doing since Hanau = Well, I graduated in 1980, was
married to a German, had one boy David and then left Germany with him in 1983,
moved to Great Britain after 18 months in Fayetteville, then lived for 4 years
in Phoenix, AZ (oh my goodness what a great place we hope to retire to there
soon), my twin sons were born in Phoenix so they are true Zonies, due to work
moved to Colorado Springs, CO (temporarily Ha ha ) stayed almost 14yrs!, in the
interim remarried 1998 this time an Army guy :( how funny huh?, and we are now
stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA and he is in Iraq returning ???? well your guess is
as good as mine :), and in 1998 opened my own mortgage company (got into lending
1988 quite by accident by degree is in computers who'd have thunk it :) .....so
that is my life to date in a nutshell! Would so love to hear from the 'gang'

What I've been doing since Hanau = What have I been doing? I have a
son named David and he is 16 and will be 17 years next month. I have served on
the teen board and modeled for Barbizon. I went to TSU in houston Texas and was
a homecoming queen. I was recently honored by the National Counsel of Negroe
Women for being a lady of destinction. I have hosted a radio show and been a
cohost for the television magazine About Towne. I was profiled in a book called:
Come Sunday Morning, African American women worship in style. I am currently
pursing my masters degree at DBU in Dallas, Texas.

Since Hanau: "I graduated early Dec 79 and
returned to Florida with my family. From 1980-1984 I attended Ohio University
where I was selected the Distinguised Military Graduate of ROTC and was
commissioned in the Field Artillery in June 1984. Received my Masters degree in
2004 from Naval Post Graduate. After 20 years in the Army I retired in 2004 in
Fairfax Virginia where I still live. In the summer of 2006 I was selected
Employee of the Quarter for the 2,000 strong Defense Agency, and subsequently
was promoted to GS15 and put in charge of a science of technology branch within
Defense Threat Reduction Agency..."

Renee have been busy since graduating from Hanau - way too many years to recount

What I've been doing since Hanau = I moved stateside in 1995. I
currently work for the state of Arkansas. In 2003 I bought a house in the
country on 3 acres. I am slowly remodeling and landscaping it. I have one
daughter and one granddaughter. My family still lives outside of Gelnhausen and
I get home as often as I can to see them. I plan on going in November this year.
I found Denita Avery or should I say her son found me looking for her. She comes
up to visit me several times a year. I am still looking for Nancy Miller if
anybody knows where she is.

Since Hanau: "As my brother stated we moved before our senior year, but
things worked out, I got my cosmetology license, with my diploma from Killeen
High School, Killeen TX, got married (soldier) and had a son, and 12 year's
later Happy and divorce!!!!!! I opened my own Hair salon in Harker Heights, TX
in 1995!!! Now in 2007 , I have one granddaughter she is 2 and half and she
makes my life happy being that her dad is in the Air Force station in Iraq right
now!!! "

Carolyn works with an engineering firm in August, GA. She and her husband,
Carl, have been married for 20 years and have a 19 year old daughter and a 16
year old son. Carolyn has also started her own business, called Personal
Reflections by C. Davis (pencil sketched portraits). Her website isn't up
and running yet, but hopefully it will be soon. Carolyn has found Lisa

After Hanau, Michael attended the University of Maryland for a year. His
family moved to Vancouver WA, where his dad retired from the military. He
went back to school for awhile and held a full-time job. He went into the
Landscaping business and became quite successful. In 1984, Michael got
married and in 1990 he got divorced and has been single since. In 1987 he
broke his back while cliff diving and had to have extensive surgery to repair
it. While taking time off from the landscaping business in order to
recover from his surgery, Michael began bartending. He has since returned
to landscaping. In 1997, he welcomed his son, Matthew Michael into the
world, who is his pride and joy.

"I went to Hanau High from 1974 to 1979, I left during my junior
year. I moved to Ft Leavenworth, graduated. Went to nursing school, graduated,
married an MP. We lived in NY for 6 years then had 2 kids (a boy and girl),
divorced. Married again to a farmer in Leavenworth (again), moved to Arkansas
had another child, boy, now raising 5 children. Now oldest married, 4 left at
home, youngest 14 years old. Am disabled now due to back injury. Have
granddaughter and grandson on way in Feb. Want to find old friends from HHS. Did

What I've been doing since Hanau = I work as a public school administrator for
the Orange County Public School System in Orlando Florida. I was widowed a
little over a year ago and am just now getting over the trauma. My dad (who was
a teacher at Hanau), John Sasser is here in Florida with me. He is still
teaching at a local college.

What I've been doing since Hanau = Since leaving Hanau I've had three children
with my husband George Sweet (class of 1980 HHS). Our oldest Kristen is 27
years old. She graduated in 2008 from Campbell University (NC) with honors. Has
been married for 8 years now. Our son Kevin is 22, and will graduate in May
from Valdosta University (GA), and will start his AF adventure beginning in
Hollowman AFB New Mexico. Our youngest Karoline is 21, and still figuring out
what she wants to do. She is about to finish her sophmore year at Valdosta
University. George retired a year ago from the Army, and is working as a
civilian government employee in the D.C. area. I'm still in GA. waiting on the
sale of our home, so that I can soon join him.

Since Hanau: "Graduated early, went to college in Kentucky,
played football and of course music. Joined the army and was stationed at
Ft. Bragg in the 82nd Airborne and Special ops. Fought in Grenada, Panama,
and the Gulf War. I was wounded in Panama and presently 100% percent
disabled but you can't tell. And now I travel a lot and fish. So
please email me and lets keep that panther pride going.
