What I've been doing since Hanau = Since Graduation i went into
the USArmy where i retired in 2002. After that i became a truck driver which i
am still doing right now I drive for Advantage Tank ;ines delivering gas to the
gas stations throughout the Kentucky and southern Indiana area. Ihave been
married 2 and have 2 daughters of my own and 6 stepchildren. Which in total have
produced me 11 grandchildren to date.

After Hanau Linda married a guy in the service in 1982 and lived around
Babenhausen until 1984. She had her first son, Christopher, in 83, and her
second, Zachary, in 85. She moved from Kentucky to Oklahoma in 87,
divorced in 89 and married her current husband, Chris, the same year. In
91 she had her last son, Sean. In 94, Linda went back to school and in 98
received a Bachelors in Technology and an Associates in Data Processing.
In 2002 they all moved to Rochelle, IL. Christopher is now 21, Zachary is
19 and Sean will soon be 13. They have a Bishon Frise named Rascal.
Rascal is multi-talented and is in charge of writing their Christmas newsletter.

Since Hanau: "Graduated from Indiana University where I met my current and only
wife. Was in the Army Military Intelligence for 7 years and was assigned
to the National Security Agency and various other locations. Was a Special
Agent with the Federal Aviation Administration at Chicago O'Hare. Received
a Master of Education from DePaul University in Chicago. I have been
married for 20 years and have two children (a boy and a girl). I am not
teaching Middle School Science and Social Science in a year round school in the
Chicago area and I also teach two college classes. I will begin work on my
doctorate in the fall and hope to some day land a job teaching at my alma mater
in Bloomington, Indiana. I stay active and still play flag football,
softball, basketball, racquetball, volleyball and play as much golf as time will
allow. I love to spend time with my wife and children and travel as much

first year. The following year my pops got transferred to Darmstadt and I
returned to Frankfurt. After doing 10 years in the Air Force, and returned to

What I've been doing since Hanau = I attended Texas Tech University after high
school and landed a job working for the Army and Airforce Exchange Service. I
just got back to the states from England where I was the Area Restaurant Manager
for the United Kingdom Exchange. I am married to Julianna and have a daughter
Jacquleen (16) and a son Sean (12). In the interum, we have also lived in
Germany about 20 years total since high school. I am looking forward to seeing
some old faces.

What I've been doing since Hanau = Most recently I moved to Killeen, Texas,
thanks to a promotion within my company. I work at Darnall Army Hospital where
coincidentally I gave birth 27 years ago....I've come full circle it seems. Just
returned from KY where I got to spend a few days with my first grandchild -
Sariya Giselle Delgado-Flowers. I can't believe my baby just had a baby and
surprisingly I don't feel old! Life is good...

Darryl left Hanau in January of 1980, and went on to graduate from GWSHS Agana
Guam. After high school he joined the USMC where he served for 6 years,
got out and moved to Aurora, CO where he tried out for the Denver Broncos.
He left in 91 and moved to Iowa where he attended Iowa State University. H
currently lives in the metro Detroit area and would love to hear from anyone who

What I've been doing since Hanau = So much has happened since I left Hanau so
the most updated information is that I have two daughters, Yvonne (19) and Lisa
(26). I will be a grandmother in May and just found out the baby will be a girl!
(yippee) I have my MBA with an HR emphasis and currently work for Cardinal

Since Hanau: "I graduated from Weaver High School in 1981. Attended
the University of Jacksonville State University on a volleyball scholarship.
Graduated with B.S. Degree. I worked for about 10 years and met my husband
in Sylacauga, AL. We have one child and continue to live in Sylacauga.
We are very involved with our child's sporting activities. I am a stay at
home mom and wife. There is not much to report. I heard from you Betty and

Since Hanau: Reiner completed a Bachelor and Master of Science in Aeronautical
Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University while in the USAF as an Air
Traffic Controller; he retired in June 2002. Since then, Reiner and his wife
Lynne have lived in Maryland and Arizona, and recently moved to Dallas, TX where
he is now working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Air Traffic
Control Automation.

After Hanau (A-burg), Gerald and his family moved to Polk, LA. Three years
later his father retired and the family traveled the U.S. for two years,
eventually settling in Las Vegas. Gerald remained there for 18 years then
moved to Maine in November 2001 where he currently works as a Semi-Truck Driver.

What I've been doing since Hanau = Left Hanau in 1979 for Colorado Springs where
I graduated from Widefield High School (forever wishing I had been able to
graduate in Hanau - all of you who were able to are so bleeding lucky!!) ;0)
Joined the Navy and sailed (not really) the world for 11 years. Enjoyed the
wonderful sights of Seattle, the wonderful culture of Japan, and sailed the
sandy waves of the high desert of Nevada. Returned in Colorado Springs in 1992
where I'ved worked in the healthcare industry for 15 years mostly managing HR.
I've come out to the world after nearly a lifetime in the closet and am proud to
say that I have not lost one friend (lost my family) but not a friend. I'm also
proud to say I'm a published author with more to come. If you knew me back in
the day..call me, write me, something. I would love to hear from you.

Since Hanau: "I was married for 17 years and had two
children, Ashley (born 1991) and Nathan (born 1989). I've been happily
divorced, working on home remodeling and staying busy with the kids. God
gave me some wonderful opportunities in the past 20 years working as an RN, in
many different areas, as well as owning my own home health agency where my staff
and I cared for vent-dependent patients in their own homes. I was also
working on my Masters in IT when I had an accident resulting in disabilities.
I wrote nursing and health care software. I have done interior design
since then, primarily residential. I would love to hear from any old
friends, especially from the Cross Country team back in 1997-1978.."
I just celebrated my second anniversary on March 16th, to a wonderful Christian
man, Kevin Mamie, who God has really blessed my life with. My son, Nathan, is
now 20 and a sophomore at Kansas State and Ashley is a junior in high school. I
have a stepson, Kyle, who just turned 16, a sophomore in high school. Kevin and
I are getting ready to leave for a long awaited trip back to Germany (last there
in 1980) on April 29-May 28. We'll be lucky enough to get to stay with Cathy
(Jones) Hall for part of the trip (Grafenwoehr) and see Jeff Ingram (Ramstein)

"Since Hanau, I attended West Point for 2 years was injured, and
shortly thereafter while ministering in the 82nd Airborne's chaplain's office,
surrendered to the call to ministry I had been avoiding. After completing my
undergrad studies, I completed seminary at Columbia International University in
Columbia, SC and embarked on the cross-cultural missions path. That led me to
the Philippines where I met my wife Luz, a fellow missionary with the
organization Youth With A Mission serving in an extremely impoverished area of
Manila. When I married Luz, I became a daddy as well as a husband, inheriting my
oldest two girls, Coco and Maris who were 7 and 4 at the time and who are now 23
and 20, married and on their way in life! Luz and I had another daughter in '92,
Joana who is now 12, and just had another daughter in December, a preemie,
Victoria who is now 6 weeks old (and very healthy)! She should be ready to leave
the hospital in a couple of weeks after she has matured just a bit more. I
am now a pastor in the Detroit area, ministering in a section of the city that
is becoming racially diverse and needs a ministry to help folks get along in an
historically racially charged area. We started with a dozen people and have
grown to nearly a hundred in 3 years. It's a challenge, but I'm very glad to be

"After High School I joined the Army and served 4 years stationed
in Aschaffenburg. During this time I married a German girl, attended night
college courses and my first daughter, Vanessa was born (1984). 1985 I left the
Service and started studying for my German Diploma in graphic design. 1987 I
finally received my Diploma, and my second daughter, Natalie (1987) was born.
Looking for a job, I happened on to one of Germany's biggest Direct Marketing
(Advertisement) Agencies in Aschaffenburg, were I spent 9 years finally leaving
as an Art Director. My wife and I separated after 15 years of marriage and I
opened my own little Advertisement Agency. For several years I published "ABgedrueckt"
a party scene magazine and homepage, and did most of the photography too.
Currently I still live just outside of Aschaffenburg, and I do a lot of
photo-direction with many aspiring young hobby photographers, and I do a lot of
Illustration and photography of my own. For anyone who was in JROTC at Hanau,

Michael joined the Air Force in 1981. He has been stationed at Rhein Main
AFB, Germany (twice), St. Louis IAP and Pope AFB, where he left active duty.
He joined the Air Force Reserves in 1993. In 1992, Michael rededicated his
life to Christ. He moved to Taylors, SC in 1997, where he was married in
October of that same year. He has been Ministering, Evangelizing, and
Assistant Pastoring since 1997. He has been to Istres France, Dhahran,
Saudi Arabia (1 year before the bombing) and then back again to Rhein Main in
2002.

IBM for 12 years as Lead Server Test Engineer and since as a Senior Software

What I've been doing since Hanau = Following graduation I attended Appalachian
State University located in lovely Boone, NC. I loved the mountains not quite
like Garmisch but it was lovely. If I could do it over I would attend the same
university with some adjustments i.e. car, more cash available, etc. I had some
family in NYC and decided why not go check it out. I did for six years working
in such lovely places as Merril Lynch (Security), JP Morgan (Security) and
finally Kings County Hospital (Security). However NYC wasn't for me and so I
decided to enlist since I was already an MP in the USAR. It's been fantastic
enjoying such lovely places as Fort Drum, NY; MacDill AFB, FL; Yemen; Georgia
(not the one next to Florida); Pakistan, Iraq; Fort Meade, MD; Nuernberg, GE;
Bad Aibling, GE (about 20KM from Chiemsee) and of course now I'm stuck in
Heidelberg. All jokes aside I simply love the area it has Hanau beat hands down.
No No not the Lions I'm just talking about the town and surrounding area. So any
of you find yourself in/near/thru etc Heidelberg give me a ring at

What I've been doing since Hanau = I have been married for the past 19 years to
my husband Charlie Brown. I teach freshman english at JHHS and have taught
in Kentucky for the past 10 years. I have two children a daughter named Crystal
and a son named Larry. I also have two grandchildren named Dalton (4) and Larry

Since Hanau: "Following a party hardy summer I departed Hanau in Aug '81
and attended Applachian State located in Boone, NC. Not a bad school it was
quite quaint the only drawback a car was a must to get around off campus.
Part-time jobs weren't easy to come by either. After graduation I ventured to
NYC and was quite intrigued by the TALL buildings. However one grows up and
after six years I came to realize that I've seen and done enough in the big
apple. I joined the military; well I was already in the military reserves but I
went active. From then it's been one lovely country to the next. Well some quite
lovely, others not so lovely. I attended the reunion in Atlanta last year and it
was great seeing everyone, even the ones I hardly knew or spoke to in Hanau.
Unfortunately in 2000 I was in one of those not so lovely countries and couldn't
make it to D.C. If any of you ever are in the D.C. area and need some assistance
feel free to give me a ring and I will do my darndest to lend you a hand. Until
then all of you be good and be safe and hope to see many of you in 2010."

Since Hanau: "Hello friends! After HHS I attended Stanford University and
graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I worked for 7 years for Raychem
Corporation in Menlo Park, CA as a Product Design Engineer. In 1993 I moved to
Truckee, CA to be near my parents and the mountains. I am currently
self-employed as a professional (civil) engineer practicing structural
engineering and green building design. My husband Bill, a general contractor,
and I are nearing completion of our straw bale home, and I’m one course away
from my MS in Civil Engineering, which I’ll complete next semester at the
University of Nevada, Reno. I’m fortunate to be healthy, remain physically
active, and am looking forward to continued growth! I have fond memories of all
my wonderful years at HHS!"

What I've been doing since Hanau = Moved back to the states
summer of 80. Finished my last year of HS, attended a local college then took a
few trade schools. I married my HS sweetheart and we have been together for 26
years. We raised two children and have excelled in our careers. My wife Sindy
works for the fed gov as a ed tech and I manage a business in Seattle. I am

What I've been doing since Hanau = Hanau HS 1/78-6/80. I graduated HS in
Waterville, Maine my home town.Lived in Naples,Fl 82-84. I've lived in Newport
News,VA since 84.I work as a Construction manager and Real Estate investor
starting recently. I'm single with a significant other(Nancy) of 10 years. We
have 4 cats and Nancy has a daughter and 2 granddaughters. I enjoy reconnecting
with everyone from Hanau and have attended reunions in
Dallas85',Denver90',DC2000',Atlanta05'and looking forward to Tampa 2010. See you

Since Hanau: "I married Jessee, we joined the Army and continued our
travels. We had twin boys and a daughter (she has passed). Jessee is now a CW5
and we are getting ready to go back to Germany for the last time. After 25 years
we will be retiring. Jessee is completing his Masters in Business (Information
Resource Management) I will be going back to finish a Nursing degree. We are

graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Physical Education., and my Masters Degree
in Physical Education from Southwest Texas State University. I graduated in July
2008 with my Doctorate in Sports Management from the United States Sports
Academy. I am currently a coach in Texas and I am looking to get into

Graduated from West Point in 1985. Currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army
stationed in Bamberg, Germany. Roberto and his wife, Laura, have 3
children. 2 girls, Morgan (6) and Hannah (4), and a son, Colin (2).

What I've been doing since Hanau = I was in Hanau '74-'78. After the culture
shock of returning to civilian life and still traveling on to 4 more schools in
a short period of time, I settled down after college with my
raised-in-same-small-town husband and put him through seminary. We have two
children, a son, 19, and a daughter, 17. I home schooled the kids up to college
while my husband served the homeless in our community for 16 years. With a soon
to be empty nest, we are looking forward to new pursuits! I'd love to connect
with old friends!!
