Since Hanau: "Once I left Hanau I came Stateside and worked for a couple years and then Joined the Navy in 1984 until 1993. I received my Associates Degree in Interdisciplinary Behavioral Studies here last year. I have 2 boys Jeremy (19) and Jacob (4). Been married and divorced (haven't we all... haha) I currently work at the new Toyota plant here in San Antonio, TX as a Parts Purchaser. Other then that PARTY or at least try to keep up with the younger ones. Mainly when I'm not working I'm either working on my Genealogy or Walking Graveyards here and Cataloging and Photographing them."

What I've been doing since Hanau = I graduated from Austin High School in El
Paso, Texas (my dad was at Ft Bliss), and then graduated from Southwest Texas
State University in San Marcos, Texas in 1987 with a degree in music
education(Ms. Jaeger and choir in Hanau gave me a love of music I will have for
the rest of my life). I married my college sweetheart in 1987, and we have 3
wonderful sons - 2 in college and one a junior in high school. I currently work
as a testing coordinator at a local high school and have been there for 10
years.
My 3 years at Hanau High School really helped to shape the person that I am
today. I have many fond memories of friendships made and teachers who influenced
my life - Ms. Jaeger, Mr. Bardach, and Dr. Wittos, to name a few.

What I've been doing since Hanau = Graduated West Point and served in the Army
for a while. After leaving the Army have worked for H.E.B. (grocery company in
TX), Ermst & Young, and am now at USAA responsible for how we sell and service
life and health insurance, and annuities on the internet and mobile. I

What I've been doing since Hanau = Decided I wanted to Teach overseas in the
DODDS system. Believe it or not I ended up in Seoul, South Korea and Dr.
Ellinger was our Superintendent of Schools. It was Awesome!! Last 15 years I've
been teaching Kiddos with Special Needs in Widefield, Colorado.

What I've been doing since Hanau = Lot of changes have occured in the last ten
years. After receiving my degree from Columbia College, Columbia, MO I enlisted
in the Missouri Army National Guard and became an Engineer Officer. My journey
with the Guard has taken me to Iraq twice in the last five years. The experience
has changed my life completely. Since returning from my last tour in June of
2008, I've gone on to secure an Executive Officer with the Stability Operations
Division at the Pentagon, where I will be for the next year.
My children are 25, 21 and my grandson is 2. My daughter, Tiffany (25), enlisted in the Regular Army and served a tour in the same AOR during my first tour in Iraq. She has since finished her enlistment and is now attending college and is a stay at home Mom. My son, "Dougie", accomplished a full four-year football scholarship and is attending Utah State University in Logan, UT. He is a 6'5", 230 lbs, Tight-End with the Aggies wraping up his Sophmore year. My 2 year old grandson, Christopher, is the shining light in all our lives...he is a beautiful energetic, charismatic and very bright toddler that keeps us in an abundant amount of smiles, laughs, kisses and hugs.
Life is wonderful and precious, although fragile and often far too short. I've learned to embrace so much more in life since my tours in Iraq, to include the failures and short comings that we all have experienced during life's pathway. In the end, its our connections to eachother and the special (and not so special) people we've encountered, our family and friends that are our compass as we navigate through life.

Dan graduated from Denbigh High School (Newport News, VA) in 1982. He received his degree in Real Estate and Land Development from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Since 1987, he has worked in real estate sales, property management and renovation. Dan is currently the Market Manager for zipRealty, Inc. in Dallas/Fort Worth. He and his wife, Lynn (Taber) – an alumnus of Frankfurt and Heidelberg High – have been married since 1990. They have a black lab named Houdini and they love to travel, hike, camp and windsurf.

What I've been doing since Hanau = I spent six years in the
United States Navy after graduation. I met my husband Pat while on active duty
and we have been married for 23 years. After getting out of the Navy I finished
my BA in Early Childhood Education, later earned my MAeD in Reading Education as
well as earning National Board Certification in my area of teaching. I continue
to teach elementary school. My husband and I have four children; Jason, Rouri,
Ally and Laurel. My husband got the teaching bug and upon retiring from active
duty became a high school art teacher.

Karen attended the University of Maryland in Munich from 1982-83. She has
spent the past 13 years working as an Educational Interpreter for the Deaf. The
last 7 of those years she has been at the Colorado School for the Deaf and
Blind. She'll be
graduating from the University of Colorado in December 2008 (fine art/graphic
design degree).

What I've been doing since Hanau = After leaving High School in Hanau I attened
Ellison High School in Killeen Tx. I attended Central Texas College and earned a
Associates Degree in Early Education. I then started my Career as a Correctional
Officer in 1990 for the Texas Deparment of Criminal Juctice. During that time I
have had two children both boys. Michael Tucker who is now 25 and Christopher
Del Bosque who is now seven years old. I got married in 2002. I left Texas
Deparment of Corrections in 1999 and went to work for the Texas Youth
Commission. There I promoted to a Superviosr for Youth Correctional Officer. I
have helped a lot of our youth get their lives back on track after having back
grounds with gangs.

where I graduated in 1982. I joined the Army in 1983, spending 6 years

as a same day courier and various corresponding positions for 12 years. I
am currently working on the Dept. of Energy's Protective Force as a Security
Police Officer. I married in 1983 and divorced in 1991. I have three
children (Anthony, 12; Danielle, 3 and Nicole, 1). I really wanted to
attend the get together in Atlanta but was on a training assignment in New
Mexico. I hope that everyone had a great time and hope to hear from anyone
who may remember me, my sister (June) or my mom (Albertha, who worked as the
Librarian's Assistant at HHS from 1975-1977)."

Kathy is married with three children, two sons ages 19 & 10, and a daughter age
15. Was in the Air National Guard then U.S. Army Nurse Corps (Reserves) for 7
years. After graduating nursing school worked in a level III Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit for 7 years then changed to home care. She is currently working as a
Care Coordinator for a Pediatric Home Care Agency in the Austin Texas area.

Jurgen retired from the Air Force in Jan of 2003, he spent 93-96
back in Germany stationed at Ramstein AB in K-Town. He has been married to
Sharon Zeringue of St Rose, Louisiana for 21 years. He and Sharon have 2 kids,
Jenelle 17, bound for Murray State, and Brian 14 bound for the nearest girl!
Sharon is Assistant Business Manager for Althoff Catholic HS; Jurgen works out
of their home in Southern Illinois directing the DOD and Intelligence Business
Development Efforts for a large international software company.
