What I've been doing since Hanau = Commissioned in the United States Army in 1989 and have been serving since. Resently married, to the former Ms. Hyun-Kyung Kim. Multiple overseas assignments to include Germany, Egypt, Kuwait, Baharain, and Korea. Lots of fun traveling to include China, Mexico, Bahamas, Amsterdam, and Israel. Planning on about another 6-9 years of military service to end around 27 or 30 years total. No children as of yet, but working on that. Hoping all my Hanau Panther friends (family) are well.

Randy and Caroline were married in 1986. They had a daughter (Destinee) in 1993. Randy spent 14 years in the Air Force, then got out, and is currently the Manager for the Nationwide backbone for Cox Communications. Caroline worked as a call center and retail manager for 13 years and as a graphic designer for 4 years. For the last 2 years she has been teaching Head Start and GA state funded Pre-K. She graduated from LC in June with her 2 year in Early Childhood Education, then off to North GA State for her 4 year in Special Education. Their daughter is a level 5 gymnast and placed 2nd in the State for Level 4 out of 58 girls. They have two poodles, Princess (a toy) and Pebbles (a tiny toy).

After Hanau I attended the University of Maryland in Munich for one year and decided I had enough of school for awhile. I completed an apprenticeship with a German company. In 1989 I worked as a civilian at Rhein Main Air Base where I met the man I married in 1992 and then divorced in 1994. I moved back to the US in 1994 and finally got my degree in Accounting. 3 weeks after graduation from Missouri Valley college, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Elizabeth. In 2000, my daughter and I moved back to Germany. Now I work for a bank. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.

Since Hanau:  "Well, after graduation, I moved to Ft. Campbell...had loads of fun...met my future husband John(married since Dec '87), moved to Ga., Fulda Germany, Ft. Polk La., Ft. Campbell Ky., Ft. Hood Tx., Schweinfurt Germany, Ft. Rucker Al., and now...Seoul Korea! So, guess you can take the brat out of the child but the military lifestyle remains intact. We have 3 great kids aged 6-16 and I am a Stay-at-Home Domestic Goddess...okay, I am not a Goddess BUT it sounds better than Domestic Engineer! Since Hanau:  "Whoa, since Hanau, that would be since 1983!! Well left home, worked in US Government and then after a small stint in Manhattan, returned to NJ and have been working as legal assistant since 1989. Training to transition to a professional career in classical music in 2007/2008. Always wanted to return to Europe to live, though. Was in Paris in 2004 and would love to live there or even the Scandinavian countries, they seem to have great economies. Germans have a lot of problems (social, economic and political) especially since the fall of the wall and reunification, but then again who doesn't?"

What I've been doing since Hanau = I left Hanau in the Summer of '81. (Back then Pioneer, Sportsfield, New and Old Argonner were still there!) Who remembers the Pizza place below the club in Old Argonner?? I am hoping to track down some of my old "classmates" from that time. What I've been doing since Hanau = Hey, it's Lauren. I'm now teaching Reading in a public Middle School - a far cry from my years at a Catholic school! Still married to my honey (almost 16 years) and mother of two wonderful kids - Mark is 11 and Lizzie is 8. Mark is very into sports; he plays basketball, soccer and baseball. Lizzie also does sports but is more into art and playing with her friends.  Life's been good - I'm thankful every day for health and happiness and the great memories of growing up in Germany.

What I've been doing since Hanau = After high school I eventually received both an undergraduate degree and an MBA. I spent 12 years working for American Color Graphics as a Human Resources Manager. November of 2008 I took a position as HR Manager of Post Sales Support for MTD Products. My husband Bryan works for the US Postal Service. My daughter Zoe, born in 2001, is starting her 5th year of dance (ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical)and has recently been asked to join a competitive dance team, which should ensure that I always know how to spend my time and money. She's 8 and already determined that her father and I should die poor. I'm too young to be over 40!
