Since Hanau: "I left Hanau in the
summer of '84. I moved to Maple Shade, NJ (very hard transition) and graduated
in '86. I managed a 7-11 for 12 years and am currently a *stay at home* Mom. I
have been married to a wonderful man, Don, for 8 years and has 5 beautiful
children; Christopher 15, Donald 7 1/2, Ashleigh 6, Hannah 2 1/2 and Stephanie
is 2 1/2 months old. I just started back to college this past Jan (06) and I am
working towards my Nursing degree. "I would love to hear from friends I knew
overseas. I miss Hanau (still do) very much."

Since Hanau: "Left Hanau in 1985 and finished school in California. Went
to college in Salt Lake City and then moved to Alaska to film documentaries.
Transitioned into the medical field because it was easier with a family and not
having to travel. Now I have just finished a CD in Nashville that I am waiting
on a release date for. I will be performing at Fan Fair (Country Music Festival)
in June this year. Look for my CD entitled "Love To Burn" by "Andie Blackwood".
Miss you all and hope to see you soon! Would love to hear from old friends from
Hanau."

Bonnie left Hanau in early 1985 and ended up graduating in Hazleton, PA after
brief stays at Ft Leonard Wood and Ft Campbell. Bonnie and Charles have been
married for ten years and have two children, Mollie (7) and Jack (10 mos).
Bonnie has just left a career as a Veterinary Hospital Manager to accompany
Charles to RAF Molesworth, Cambridgeshire, England, where she is enjoying life
as "a woman of leisure".

What I've been doing since Hanau = We moved in the middle of my senior year,
which was a blessing from God. I would not have know or gotten my full ride
scholarship to Northwest Missouri State University. I graducated with a BS in
Elem. ED. I have been teaching middle school science for 20 years now. I taught
6 years inner city for the Kansas City Missouri School District. I have been
teaching in rural Missouri since August of 1996. I have enough hours in
counseling to get a graduate degree, but I got burned out and did not want to
study for the 3 hour comps. Anyone who remembers my mom, she worked in the
cafeteria during 84 and 85. Can contact me I will pass on the message. She still
works for Aafes. My brother David is still shy and stubborn and
won't sign up, he did graduate from Hanau in 85. I will also be glad to pass on
any messages for him. I wish I had known about this site earlier. I never made
any connections with the kids at the school I technically graduated from. I
always think of Hanau as my High School.

Since Hanau: "Wow, its been a long time. I have two
children, Teryan, 17, and Terrell Jr., 11. I have been married and
divorced once. Currently working on my Masters in counseling. Very
active in church, I teach bible study to teens age 13-18. Basically living

What I've been doing since Hanau = I'm married to a wonderful man who drags me
around the world with his job in the coast guard. I have one beautiful daughter
Aliscia , who just turned 16. I was in the military after high school where i
met my first husband. I have devoted my life to raising my child which has given
me so MUCH great pleasure. I hope somebody remebers me and gives me a shout out.

Since Hanau:: "I
got married to Calvin Rich in 1986 in Florida (known as Devie). Some of you may
remember him, he worked in Fliegerhorst. I hung around the smoker group. Devie
and I have two children -- a girl now 19 and a junior in college and a boy 17
getting ready for graduation in '07. I came to Florida when Devie got out of the
service in '85 and I actually graduated in the fall of '85 at PJC here-- I
should have graduated in '86 in Germany. I followed my heart. I saw Brenda
(Pollard) Kreitler a few times but now have lost touch-- last time she told me
her hubby was going to go to Korea and later she was going to Colorado with her
three boys. Devie is doing the same type of work now and he also teaches
motorcycle safety classes. We both love to ride our bikes whenever we get the
chance-- doesn't take much to get us out there :-) I drive a school bus for the
county we live in.. It's nice to still get summer vacation--- I get a reminder
from my hubby each year how nice it would be for him."

I currently am a professor at BYU-Hawaii. I had been doing counter terrorism
research and analysis for 15 years before putting on a Hawaiian shirt and
teaching--this is a big change. I now have four children. They think it is cool

Since Hanau: "Moved back to the states in 85, finished high school in
Savannah, GA. 86 went to college in Nashville, TN, then back home for a year and
worked an office job in the PX. 88-91, returned to college and finished with a
bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Olivet Nazarene University in
Kankakee, IL. In Dec. 91, married Ethan Rutter, lived in Nashville, TN where he
attended graduate school at Vanderbilt University while I taught 5th grade for 3
years in the public school system there. In July of 94, moved to Phoenix, AZ
where we've been ever since. We have two children: Wade, 11 years old in 5th
grade and Kandace, 8 years old in 3rd grade. After several years at home with
the kids, I returned to full-time teaching once again at the same school where
my kids attend. Life is good and I'm very blessed. I'd love to hear from some of
the old gang from Hanau High."

After Joelle left Hanau (during the middle of her sophomore year) she went to
California to live with her dad. She managed to graduate one year early , just
to get out of school, then moved to Kentucky to live with her mom. She met
her husband there in 1985 and they married later that year. He is in the Army
and she is a stay at home mom. Joelle has taken a few college courses over
the years, but prefers to spend time with her family. She and her husband
have been married for 18 years and have four children ages 17 years, 12, 3, and
16 months. The Army has allowed them to travel to Germany two times and even the
Netherlands (they just moved to Oklahoma in Nov. from the Netherlands). They
have also been able to view a few of the states here in the US. They will be
retiring from the Army next year.

What I've been doing since Hanau = Got transferred at the end of my junior year
in Hanau to Augusta, Ga. I graduated from Hephzibah High School (Hanau is my
school). I still had the traveling bug and moved to NY (88-90)then to Italy
(90-96) where I pursued a singing and modeling career. Decided it was time to
get a "real" job and went to school and the rest is history. Currently I am
mommy to a 10 year old and married for the almost 5 years and working for a
major law firm as a legal secretary. Would love to hear from Hanau classmates!!

12-15.It was fun going to a high school when you are only 13 years old.. lol.. I

Tracey left Hanau before senior year, but thinks of Hanau High as her graduating school. She graduated from Hampton University in 1990. She also has a Master's Degree from Boston University. What I've been doing since Hanau = So excited that I found this website.....it
so brings back great memories. Where did those days go? I went to school there
from 1983 to 1985. I heard that the it closed down recently.....Why? It's been
over 20 years I'm sure it had changed. One day I will get back there. I lived in
Babenhausen and so remember the long bus ride to get there. I meet a lot of
great people sure wish I could remember their names....the pictures are great
keep them coming. Everytime my dad got stationed somewhere I'd
always find someone that I knew from the past. Go Hanau and the life we
all loved.

industry for about 15 years. She recently made a huge career change into the

Angela and Bruce were married in August 1996 and
have known each other since April 1987. They welcomed Augustus Allen into the
world on May 20, 2002 and James Erich on May 17, 2007. She completed her BA in
management with a concentration in small business and entrepreneurship in
December 1996. She finally completed her MBA with a concentration in accounting
in July 2003. Currently, she is an Accounting Manager with a privately held
electrical contracting company in Atlanta.

Since Hanau: "Can't believe it's been
almost 20 years. So, I've been married almost 19 years, have 3 beautiful
kids, 2 girls, Mary Alice and Mikel, and our son, Matthew. My husband,
Kevin, serves in the Army. We've been back to Germany and to the old
stomping grounds. Saw Ms. Lynn, still looks the same. A-burg has so

Since Hanau: "What I've been doing since Hanau = HELLO TO
ALL.. I'm no longer in Alabama, I moved to Mexico 6 months ago to promote and
provide Efficient, Effective, Safe, and Secure Aircraft "Critical" Jet Charter
services using Falcon, Lear, and Hawker aircraft for US major manufacturer such
as GM, John Deere, CAT, Delphi, etc. We operate Cargo aircraft throughout the

"After leaving Hanau I married then divorced, then married again and stayed
married for 11 years. My wife and I had one child, Aaron, Jr., and love
the boy to death. I became a police officer in 1990 and involved in
controversy and media coverage as several police officers and I uncovered wrong
doing within our police department and township elected government. I am
now retired from law enforcement due to injury. Would love to hear from,
and see people from school and A-burg. Be pleased to know that the Mohawk
has been cut and an accepted hair style is the norm."

Attended Hanau 1981-1984. Actually graduated in Fountain, CO. She works in the
insurance industry as a Claims Examiner (Adjuster). Sandra is married to an
insurance appraiser and has a 2 year old daughter named Shaelyn. "(started the

What I've been doing since Hanau = Hanau was a long time ago, so I've done a
lot. Married, had two boys--now 17 &14, completed my Bachelor's in Psychology
and Master of Human Relations, and divorced. I went back to Germany with my ex
and lived in and around Ramstien AB. I miss Germany every day! After returning
to the states I started working for Social Services providing case management
and employment training to people on TANF. Starting in the Y2K I have been in
employment and staffing as a recruiter--now I am a Career Services Advisor with
DeVry University. Phew...that's was a mouth full.

What I've been doing since Hanau = After graduating from Hanau my family and I
relocated to Ft. Carson Colorado where I work for 2 years for a furniture store.
I lost tons of weight and joined the AIr Force and became a Security Policeman
and was stationed at Eielson AFB from 88-91 and Clear AFS from 91-92. After
getting out of the Air Force I moved back to Idaho and got a job with Micron
Tech where I met my wife Kerrie and got married. We have two children Robert 9,
and Kathleen 7. I left Micron in October of 99 and went to work for ADA County
as a Deputy Marshal in the court system where I have worked every since.
